The International section of the Foundation has devised an ambitious plan consisting of camps, trials, meet-ups, and programmes of excellence

Real Oviedo Academy has now been born. This is a project designed to promote our training model in other countries, with the aim of taking the experience of our technical staff to hundreds of young players around the world, and allowing them to become part of our working methods.

Real Oviedo Academy is working to establish collaboration agreements, both with other Asturian clubs and with those in other parts of the world. These agreements include training for players and coaches, as well as accommodation at our facilities, allowing those taking part to achieve an improvement in their footballing development. All of this means that these partnerships have a great possibility of being mutually beneficial.

Camps, talent clinics, team meet-ups, and programmes of excellence make up the activity plan for Real Oviedo Academy. These activities will be carried out both in Asturias and in different parts of the world.

The forerunners to Real Oviedo Academy can be found in 2019, when several foreign sides travelled to our Fundoma training facilities, taking part in training sessions with the aim of improving their footballing level.

Japan, Australia, the USA, Saudi Arabia and South Korea were some of the countries from which teams travelled to train with us. The teams participated in the complete training plan, designed in accordance with the training methodology used by our own academy teams.
