Agreement with Chicago Blues FC
The Real Oviedo Foundation has signed a collaboration agreement with American academy side Chicago Blues FC; one of the most important clubs in youth-team football in the state of Illinois.
Players and coaches from the American soccer academy will receive training using Real Oviedo Youth Academy methods
Chicago Blues FC is a member of the Golsoccer Network alliance; a network of football clubs made up of more than one thousand trainees. The children, both boys and girls, train in the city of Chicago, which is the third highest-populated city in the United States of America.
Thanks to this agreement, players and coaches from Chicago Blues FC will receive football training using Real Oviedo Youth Academy working methods. The ages of members of the Chicago-based academy range from 2 to 18 years.
This agreement opens the door for trainees at Chicago Blues FC to take part in camps, talent clinics, team meet-ups, and programmes of excellence, both in Oviedo and in Chicago, and is therefore mutually beneficial.
